What can I expect if I book a session?
Honestly, one of the first things each of my clients say following their photoshoot is: "that was so fun!" My sessions are laid back and intimate - I go with the flow, roll with the tantrums, chat a bit, get to know you and make sure you feel comfortable. I work with the natural light available, shooting mainly outdoors in nature's perfect backdrop, capturing warm & vibrant photos during golden hour (1 hour before sunset). Once I get a few all-smiling-and-looking-at-the-camera shots, I like to step back a bit and see you relax and play. I practice "unposed posing" by directing my clients into position, then prompting them to interact with each other in order to capture authentic connections & raw emotions - think of me as a fly on the wall! I like to preserve those "in-between" moments where you are not forcing a smile, but rather enjoying the company you are with, because that is when the magic happens!
During the colder months, I tend to do more indoor lifestyle sessions to capture your family and showcase your lovely homes - it's so great seeing kids in their element and seeing them comfortable in their own environment.
I truly believe that photography is an investment that continues to grow in value over the years. I would be honored to capture the dynamics of you and your family, and give you something that you will be proud to hang on your wall & share with your loved ones.
Your high resolution digital images are delivered through a private online gallery. Expected turnaround for image delivery is 2-4 weeks, although I allow 6 weeks as breathing room. A signed contract and $50 minimum retainer fee are required to secure your session date.

Lifestyle Portrait Session

A collection of 50+ digital images.
Begins 1 / 1.5 hours before sunset, outdoor.
This package is suitable for families, couples, maternity, graduations & headshots.
This is for one household with 5 people or less.
$25 will be added for families over 5.
Newborn Portrait Session
550
A collection of 40+ digital images.
Takes place in the client's home (late morning) or outside (in warmer months, 2 hours before sunset), typically within the first 3 weeks of birth.
Roughly 2 hours of shooting time.
Extended Family Session
600
Outdoor.
A collection of 60+ digital images.
Up to 3 families/households.
Extra fees will depend on how many additional families you would like to include in your session.
